Auditions

Audition for Young Sounds

Young Sounds participation is earned through an audition process. Auditions are held annually during the summer. Here, you will find requirements, dates, and (during audition cycles) downloadable etudes and instructions.

Audition Dates for 2011

  • Brass and Rhythm auditions will be Saturday, 9/10 from 2pm-6pm and Monday 9/12 from 6pm-9pm
  • Woodwinds auditions are scheduled for Saturday 9/17 10am-3pm
  • Additional times will be available on Monday, 9/19 from 6pm-9pm
  • First Young Sounds Rehearsals for the 2011-2012 season are scheduled for October 3
