AUDITIONS

Audition dates are as follows:
Rhythm section: May 29, 2008
Trumpets: May 30, 2008
Saxes: May 31 , 2008
Trombones: June 1, 2008

Materials will be available to download via this website by April 1st. Materials will also be mailed to all public high school band programs.
Further questions should be directed to Ms. Catlin via email.
The basic requirements are
1. scales
2. etudes
3. improvisation (with prerecorded rhythm accompaniment)
4. sight reading
The Rhythm section varies slightly because of the "comping" and
chord requirements of the instruments but the basic premise is the same.
If students aren't able to get their individual instrument requirements from
their school, they should contact the
Professional Musicians of Arizona, Local 586 (Contact information is listed below).
Information can be picked up or mailed to you.
